We experienced the same problem with about two of our
cardiac pateints, the CK results were high initially
and on repeat with Lithium heparin tube the results
were undectable. we received another serum samples on
gold top gel tube, the Ck was decteable. Suggesting
that lithium heparin may affect the CK meaurement in
presence of medications mentioned below.
