Apologies to list members. In my previous email I wrote that the mol. wt. of CKMB was approx. 40,000. This is incorrect. The mol. wt. of each sub unit is approx. 40,000 so the mol. wt. of CKMB will be approx. 80,000. It should not therefore normally appear in urine but may do so when increased vascular permeability occurs.
