Difficult without any clincial details. What result would you expect? What
is the dose, age, how mild is mild, other drugs, ITU?

Subject: Discrepant Digoxin results
Can anyone help with an explanation for these discrepant digoxin results
which came to light when transferring the assay from MIRA (EMIT) to Olympus
640?
27th Jan: MIRA 0.75nmol/L; Olympus 2.5nmol/L; Centaur 2.7nmol/L, TDX 4.6
nmol/L.
12th Feb: MIRA 1.1nmol/L; Olympus 3.4nmol/L; Centaur 3.3nmol/L, TDX 1.7
nmol/L.
Heterophillic antibody blocking tubes had no effect on MIRA or Olympus
results. Patient is an elderly male with mild renal failure – DLIS
unlikely. Patient not on spironolactone.
