"The time is coming shortly when doctors will have been made obsolte by the
laboratory" - discuss !
What ever happened to clinical judgement/skills ?
I wonder whether we shouldn't have lawyers and insurance assessors running
the A&E / ER with perhaps the odd statistician and actuary !
With best wishes

Subject: Re: FDA and the (other) ACB
"The ACB test is not a stand-alone heart attack test
but must be used together with an electrocardiogram
(ECG) and a blood test for troponin. A normal ACB test
with a normal ECG and normal troponin gives doctors
increased confidence that patients can go home because
they did not have a heart attack."
Is this really a useful extra?
