Just talked to 40 GPs. It's obvious that the same questions come up
commonly. They include:
Investigation of hypokalaemia
Investigation of hyponatraemia
Thyroid "monitoring"
What to measure in patients on statins
Low level albumin in urine in diabetes mellitus
Diagnosing Gilbert's syndrome
Assays on specimens from known users of illegal drugs
'Phoning results "out of hours"
NHS numbers for patient identification
Labels and stamps on cards and specimen containers
Resources and workload
Use of email about patients?
Should we accumulate a set of GP FAQs and ACB answers?
