Hello all,
Last week we had patient coming for OGTT, when arrive
he said he just had a bottle of Coke...the
phlebotomist said to him that is not good, and you
need to be fast.. he replied that the Coke was diet
(No sugar on it)... the phlebotomist come back to me
to ask if that okay...and I asked what about the
caffeine, the replied that the Coke was
Decaffeinated...and he insisted to get his procedure
done.
What do you think about the effect of the
decaffeinated diet Coke on OGTT.
Any comment will be appreciated on this matter
