Dear colleagues (addicted to haematological morphology),
A question posed this morning by a surgeon (!!).
How long does it take for Howell-Jolly bodies to appear after
splenectomy due to traumatic rupture of the spleen?
I have not yet checked my textbooks appreciating that at least the older
classics will surely answer this question.
Thank you very much for your input.
