Bayer only quote only one set of "expected results" in the manual which
appears to be the same for all analysers !
Can we still justify having site specific reference ranges in these days of
mobile populations.
To take it to a silly extreme - should we have different reference ranges
for each batch of specimen tubes ?
What ever happened to inter- and intra-individual biological variation which
exceeds the achievable analytical precision ?

We consider distribution of TSH, FT3 and FT4 on two machines in two
hospitals within the same organisation with common LIS-database.
Does anyone know, whether Elecsys 2010 and Centaur are compatible to a
