Hi emma,
horse teeth are remarkably robust - so you would not necessarily find any other
bone - I often get just row of cattle upper pre/molars lying together which I
take as evidence of cattle skulls at Yarnton where on the floodplain little else
survives, or if it does is so crumbly it does not get recovered. I would guess
preservation is the factor if your teeth form a row/two rows?
And if they don't how about divination or some such activity, do they show any
polish/wear?
