There is an excellent free CDC / WHO programme called epiinfo which will
calculate percentiles and Z scores from raw data. Epiinfo can be downloaded
from
http://www.cdc.gov/epiinfo/epiinfo.htm
I have an indroductory tutorial if anyone is interested.
