Thank you: I was aware of the San (Bern)Ardo naming error, which was what
set me seeking clerical errors (no puns intended). Thus, San Taela might [so
goes my reasoning] have been originally written as Santa Ela., with Ela.
being an abbreviation(?) for Elena [Saint Helen], as Ma. is for Maria.
Alternatively, Santa (Ysab)Ela [Saint Elisabeth] could work. Perhaps
Listmembers have come across similar "naming transitions"????
