medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Dear learned colleagues. Sorry for the X-posting. However: I would still
like to thank you all very much for the very useful responses to my query
of the violent churchmen. I'm sure my student feels the same.
Another question, which might appeal to some of you: Does any of you know
of a good, ready-to-buy textbook on Rome in the Middle Ages? I've learned
that Krautheimers 'Profile of a City' is long gone and only possible to get
a hold of second-hand. I intend to use such a book in a BA-course this
spring, however, until now, I haven't been able to find a worthy replacement.
Thanks.
Best wishes
