WIDER INFORMATION AND LIBRARY ISSUES: Resource's role for
the library domain
Stamford, Tuesday 12th November 2002, 10.15am to 4.00pm
CPI Library and Information Policy Seminar
Resource's WILIP project is collecting evidence to enable it to establish
optimal relationships with the *wider libraries domain*. It will help to
determine the most effective ways in which Resource can contribute to wider
library and information issues.
The aims of this cross-sectoral seminar are to identify the issues that LIS
managers want Resource to address, to debate Resource's role and priorities
for the wider library domain, and to feed ideas into the WILIP project.
There will be plentiful opportunity for questions and discussion.
The seminar should be of key interest to LIS managers in all sectors, to the
Single Regional agencies and other regional and government bodies, library
partnerships, library schools, and many others.
