The Department of Geology at the University of Plymouth (UK) has recently combined with the Department of Geography to form a new School of Geography and Geology. As a result of this process, the School is advertising two Lectureships/Senior Lectureships with a clear emphasis on research of international quality. It is anticipated that at least one appointment will be made within the RAE 4-rated research groups in the Department of Geology, namely "Geodynamics & Palaeomagnetism" or "Micropalaeontology, Palaeo-environments & Climate Change".
