Co-ordinator - Research & Training (Fixed-term, full-time) Ref VJF/190
To co-ordinate the development of the Institute's Research Education,
Training and Support Strategies as the Institute develops and enhances its
position in high quality research capacity building. Candidates should have
experience in health services research, teaching and learning and possess a
good honours degree. Previous experience of working with NHS management
would be desirable.
Salary will be within the range £29,709 - £35,249 per annum, depending on
qualifications and experience. This post will be offered on a fixed-term
contract until 31 March 2004, could be filled as a secondment and is open
to job share.

Research Capacity Building Co-ordinator (Fixed-term, part-time) Ref VJF/191
Required to work with NHS Providers in mid-Trent to develop health services
research training and support, to identify the potential for collaborative
health services research ventures, to convene the New Researchers Training
Programme in mid-Trent and to develop the Programme throughout the Trent
Region. Candidates should have research, training and NHS experience.
Experience of working with both NHS and academic organisations and
possession of a higher degree will be an advantage.
Salary will be within the range £20,470 - £26,491 per annum, pro rata,
depending on qualifications and experience. The successful candidate will
be required to work 60% of the full-time hours per week. This post will be
offered on a fixed-term contract until 31 March 2004 and could be filled as
a secondment.
