medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
We've had many discussions on St Fiacre over the years on this list. Of course, newcomers can't have known that, but I do recommend searching for 'Fiacre' in our list's archives; just go to the list's home page, and conduct your search from there!
Best wishes,
George

If this is the Fiacre I'm thinking of, he donated his
name to "taxi carriages" b/c the "taxi stand" was near
a church dedicated to him. In my naive youth, I always
wondered about Saint Taxi.
