medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
I also meant to mention Philip Cary's _Augustine's
Invention of the Inner Self_. I haven't yet gotten to
this book but am looking forward to reading it. It is
my understanding that this is a sort of
psycho-biography of Augustine, applying modern
insights into the psyche to Augustine who fortunately
gave us the means to reach his.
Best,
MG
