medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Does anyone have access to Savonarola's Expositione sopra la oratione della
vergine gloriosa... (Firenze: B. di Libri, 1496)?
I am particularly interested in whether the friar uses any terminology
demonstrating devotion to Mary as "Imacolata." One of our graduate
students made passing mention of his using the term in a conversation some
time last year. I find nothing in the editions of Savonarola's works in
our library, but we do not have the work cited above.
