Entry requirements: Applicants must have a minimum of a first degree in a
health related subject or an equivalent qualification from a health
professional training course, and at least 5 years professional experience
in health care.
The programme is split into three levels, Certificate, Diploma and MSc.
Each level takes three terms over one year to complete. For the Certificate
and Diploma levels, each term consists of one week of taught course work,
six weeks of project work in the candidates' work settings, and completion
of a 4000 word assignment. Following acceptance on to the MSc level of the
course, two elective modules and a dissertation of a maximum of 25,000
words must be completed. Schedules for the MSc modules vary.
This Programme will help you
· identify evidence that can be used to address clinical and health
management issues
· teach evidence-based health care to colleagues
· design and maintain clinical effectiveness programmes
· prepare papers, make presentations and prepare research protocols
Individuals can complete the entire Programme, Certificate level, or
selected modules.
