i'm just wondering what, exactly, this means.
the mind is not working at present, but there were "orders" [what else to call
them?] of Augustinians, i believe, and i suppose they could have passed cults
and practices around amongst themselves, just as, say, the Cistercians did.
but "Augustinian Canons" seems a bit vague, to me, since those guys were all
over the map.
or does the term exclusively refer to "Reformed" secular canons, living under
the "Augustinian" Rule ?
