I would also be interested in any information on this if anyone can help
please. Also, a connected question. What proportion of hours are enquiry
desk staff expected to an staff enquiry desk for? Are they required to
staff the desk all day (with tea and lunch breaks), half a day etc. Does if
differ depending on size of library?
Many thanks,
Alison Cairns

Subject: Staffing forumulae
I remember some time ago there being a discussion on this list relating to
staffing formulae in order to work out numbers of appropriate staff at
service points. Can anyone provide me with a summary of the discussions
please.
Thanks,
Lesley
