Are there any public librarians who have "UK interests only"? Personally, I
welcome contributions from outside the UK, even from people I disagree with,
and would not be interested in anything along the lines of
lis-fortressbritain-libs! Anyone wishing to set up a new list on jiscmail
can find details of how to do so on http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/ . Hopefully
lis-pub-libs will continue to be, as its name suggests, a general discussion
list for public library topics. I have never felt swamped, except as Steven
Heywood said, by out of office autoreplies for which I use automatic
deletion.
