Those embarking on implementing the People’s Network might be interested in
a PN User survey conducted at Richmond, 5 months after our launch. We
wanted to find out:
What are the PN PCs being used for?
Which Microsoft OFFICE applications are being used?
What web-based services that we subscribe to are being used?
How much use is made of assistive technology on the PN PCs?
Why do the public choose to use the computers in the library?
The NOF investment in staff ICT training (70% of our staff have had NOF
funded training) has paid off - users have been unanimous in their
comments about the helpfulness and knowledge of staff.
For the Survey report please see

- where you will be able to download an Acrobat file.
