Simone,
You require host certificates for your box and these are normally
located in /etc/grid-security
You should edit /etc/globus.conf so that
the location and name of your host keys is specified.
From my /etc/globus.conf I have
X509_GATEKEEPER_CERT=/opt/globus/etc/gppce05-computeelement.cert
X509_GATEKEEPER_KEY=/opt/globus/etc/gppce05-computeelement.key
which is where my host keys are. You could have them anywhere.
Your .key should be read only by root though.
Steve

Subject: Re: globus-job-run command doesn't work
I tried to start the gatekeeper as it wasn't running. I got the following
output:
[simone@dps-1 edg]$ /etc/rc.d/init.d/globus-gatekeeper start
Starting globus-gatekeeper:/etc/grid-security/hostcert.pem: No such file or
directory
unable to load certificate
7483:error:02001002:system library:fopen:No such file or
directory:bss_file.c:245:fopen('/etc/grid-security/hostcert.pem','r')
7483:error:20074002:BIO routines:FILE_CTRL:system lib:bss_file.c:247:
No gatekeeper certificate (X509_GATEKEEPER_CERT)
No gatekeeper key (X509_GATEKEEPER_KEY)
What can I do now?
Thanks
Simone
