What do I put in/leave out? Questions of style and presentation. Workshop
and question and answer session using your own CVs.
4:00 pm - PRE-INTERVIEW PREPARATION
Researching the organisation. Presenting yourself at the interview. How to
handle those difficult interview questions.
4:15 pm - DEVELOPING A PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
Assessing your current position and your future potential.

** ABOUT THE FACILITATORS **
Lawraine Wood has had over 18 years of professional experience, which
includes work in the public, academic and special library fields. She set up
her own training and consultancy business in 1997, and at the same time
started working with Sue Hill Recruitment & Services where she acts as a
representative in the north of England and Scotland, conducts interviews in
various locations outside London and runs the graduate recruitment
programme.
Michael Martin is Information Manager, Careers at the Library Association.
He provides careers advice, and information on courses leading to a
qualification in LIS and pre-postgraduate course traineeships.

Non-members £17.63 (£15 inc. £2.63 VAT).
