it will be interesting to see what effect Microsoft's Spelling & Grammer
"checkers" will have on the future course (if any) of Western Civilisation as
we know and love it.
i once ran the grammer checker on a chapter of my genealogical work and got
the admonition that i should change "wife" to "mate" or "spouse" in as much
as the former word might be considered by some as not being "gender neutral."
so it goes.
besides, Aaron, "ritulisation" is *much* to fancy a word to be used in mixed
company, what with all those peskie syllables and all.
