Dear All,
An opportunity has arisen to become part of the all-Wales ATTRACT service. The job advert is as follows:
**********************************************************************************
TRIP is a specialist primary care support unit based at Gwent Health Authority, Mamhilad, and is looking for a suitable person to work on the ATTRACT service. The ATTRACT service has proved very popular in Wales, where it allows members of the primary care team to ring ATTRACT with a clinical query. A rapid search and summary of the evidence is undertaken and faxed back to the requesting clinician within 6 hours. For more information about ATTRACT visit our website at http://www.attract.wales.nhs.uk
The post will involve all aspects of this question answering process from helping the clinicians ask the question in a structured manner, to searching the literature and summarising the results.
It is essential that the candidate has knowledge of working in the health service, preferably primary care; can work to tight deadlines and thrives under pressure.
If you are interested in the post and would like to have further information, please contact Jon Brassey on 01495 765105
The salary for the post will be in the region of £18-24,000 PA.
The closing date for applications is 22nd February 2002
**********************************************************************************
We are ideally looking for someone to start at the beginning of April.
All the best
Jon Brassey
