TIER II CRC IN ENVIRONMENTAL HISTORY
ASSISTANT OR JUNIOR ASSOCIATE LEVEL
The Departments of History and Geography at Simon Fraser University invite
applications for a Tier II Canada Research Chair (CRC) in Environmental
History at the assistant or junior associate level. The successful
candidate will possess an interest in the environmental history of the
Pacific Northwest or will have conducted related research. The research
chair will support and lead the
teaching and research initiatives of a dynamic group of historians and
geographers working in environmental history at Simon Fraser University.

While this position involves some graduate and undergraduate teaching, it
is primarily a research appointment and is supported by research funding.
Applicants are invited to articulate the ways in which their research and
