Research Assistant
£16,905 - £22,236 per annum
A Researcher is required to contribute to the completion, development and
management of externally funded research projects within the Institute for
Environment and Sustainability Research. The Institute has been recently
established as a focus for multi-disciplinary research across the
University. This post will focus on evaluation, environmental management
and policy related projects within the Institute. The successful candidate
will contribute flexibly to projects as workloads and deadlines for ongoing
and new projects demand.
You should possess a good first degree in a relevant subject and have good
research skills, ideally both quantitative and qualitative, covering a
range of methods of data collection and analysis. Experience in applying
these research skills within at least one area of academic work of
relevance to IESR such as environment/risk management, sustainable
transport, environmental policy or environmental/risk perception will be
particularly welcome.
This post is offered on a temporary basis for 1 year.
