PRODUCING EFFECTIVE PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL
CILIP workshop, 17 April, London
Promotional materials such as newsletters, pamphlets, posters, and
promotional letters have a key part to play in raising the profile of the
organisation. They are vital tools for promoting existing and new services,
and for encouraging new users to try your range of services.
But how many of us are confident that we are getting the most from the time
invested in producing promotional material? Does it really work? How can the
chances of printed promotional literature being read be dramatically
increased?
BENEFITS FROM ATTENDING:
This workshop will give participants invaluable tips and techniques for
producing promotional materials to help them spread the word about their
services.
By the end of the event participants will have:
* considered the habits of their readership and what is likely to appeal to
them
* explored ideas for producing an effective publicity campaign
* received tips on visual impact of literature
* considered different styles for brochures and how to improve response
* looked at how to use illustrations and headlines effectively
WORKSHOP LEADER
Chris Wells of Gracewell Consultants, lectures on a range of topics
including copywriting, editing newsletters, producing effective literature
and preparing fundraising strategies and sponsorship proposals. He has
worked extensively within the voluntary, public and commercial sectors.
