Hi Brandan!
Another approach to your research would be to put together a focus group of
blind/vi people to find out their personal experiences, and to discover what
they think would be valuable research. Perhaps you could have a user-led,
emancipatory research project from beginning to end. Especially because
blind/vi people have lacked power over research on this population,
vocational rehab service provision, employment opportunities, etc., this
would be a great venue for you to begin to shift power relations.
