Hi all
I was wondering if anyone came across any whistles made from
bones, such as metatarsa/metacarpal from animals such as deer?
If so, any reference to articles would be great. In addition does
anyone know how to make such an item? I would like to
reconstruct (an play) such an item. In the recesses of my mind, I
do recall that early hominids made whistles out of deer
metatarsal/carpals, but perhaps this was a dream.
Hopefully someone can tell me that I am not going mad, or indeed
maybe it was a different bone.... thanks
Kind regards
Ruth
