Hi Kevin,
I remember some walrus bone finds presented in an exhibition by the European
Community and in the accompanying catalogue. The reference is
Europarat (ed.) (1992): Wikinger, Waräger, Normannen, Berlin
It shows and desribes two medieval maxillaefragments with parts of the
canine alveolae and chopmarks from Greenland and Dublin (p. 384-385), a
chapter about worked walrus ivory (p. 204-205) and several walrus ivory
finds (e. g. pages 104, 336-337, 385-391). I think it is published as well
in french and danish (at least) since the exhibition was shown in Paris,
Berlin and Kopenhagen.
Also I remember walrus skull parts with chop marks exhibited in the museum
of Ribe (http://www.ribesvikinger.dk/).
Best wishes
Christian
