Good because you should talk to Gitte (sorry I forgot
her last name) in Zoological museum, she works with
birds, and she was also one of my teachers there, they
have a huge collection of bird skeletons.
I will probably be in the museum occasionally, since I
am working with and reading on a project about animal
bones from a site in Bulgaria. You should also talk to
one of my teachers at, archaeological institute, Erik
Brinch Petersen who has excavated the site with the
"Swan Wings" it is Bøgebakken, grave_8.
The Archaeological Institute is at Vandkunsten no. 5,
in the center of Copenhagen, it is actually near the
Nationalmuseum.
I found a few notes about the Bøgebakken grave_8, but
the species is not mentioned
(It is in: Da Klinger I Muld, 25 års arkæologi i
Danmark 1993 ed. Steen Hvass & Birger Storgaard.:
pp76-81 )I know there is a english version of this
book, but I do not remember the English title
best regards from Jesper S. Østergaard
