Subject: Adding invisible counters to intranet
Apologies if this is not the correct forum, but I am unable to find a list
specifically dedicated to intranet development.
I am trying to find a simple method of inserting invisible (to the user)
hit counters into the individual pages of our staff intranet, in order to
gather some meaningful statistics prior to undertaking redevelopment.
I have developed the site using Dreamweaver 4. Whilst it is located on a
dedicated server, the site sits within our firewall, so the usual WWW based
services do not seem appropriate.
Any help that can be offered will be most gratefully recieved
