An exciting opportunity for a young, creative, scientifically-minded
graduate with administrative experience to become involved in the world of
science media and education.
London based science writer and broadcaster, Simon Singh, seeks a personal
assistant, to keep him organised and to work as a science media apprentice,
helping with his current science communication projects. The role will
involve everything from basic secretarial work to project research, web
design and creation of website content. The ideal candidate must be highly
organised, able to work independently and with initiative, while dealing
with several projects at once, and possess excellent writing and
communication skills. Other prerequisites are an informed enthusiasm for
science, IT skills, flexibility and a tolerant sense of humour.
The post will be based in West London and will be full time, initially with
a one-year contract.
