Tho I have demonstrated I am not reading him, I wld class myself as a
reader
That poem posted by Alison demonstrates his quality
and I homed in on his name in that bookshop I mentioned
I think he's odd. I think he has limits. But he's good.
I dont know whom else you mean - not "other English" tho "other, English"
wld do, because Clemo was Cornish and that's not English

Alison Croggon: "I found one Jack Clemo poem in a search."
I wonder: does anyone still read Jack Clemo? He was a fine poet, I have a
few of his books somewhere, though I haven't touched them in a while. How
many people have read him, and what do you think?
There was this other English guy in the same generation, somewhat like Clemo
and also good -- dang, I forget his name.
Cheers,
Philip
