Dear colleagues,
I am preparing a chapter for a book about CONICAL INTERSECTIONS in
molecules, which is edited by DOMCKE, KOEPPEL and YARKONY.
My chapter will cover
CONICAL INTERSECTIONS IN THE PHOTODISSOCIATION OF SMALL MOLECULES
USING ACCURATE POTENTIAL ENERGY SURFACES.
I know the literature pretty well until the beginning of the 90's,
when my book on PHOTODISSOCIATION DYNAMICS was published.
In the meantime a lot of nice theoretical studies using good potential
energy surfaces have been published. I am aware of some of them. In
order to not miss important work I ask for your help:
Please report to me any theoretical study about conical intersections
in the photodissociation of small molecules, eg., H_2S or H_2O.
The focus is on
CONICAL INTERSECTIONS (not non-adiabatic effects in general)
PHOTODISSOCIATION (not molecular dynamics in general)
ACCURATE POTENTIAL ENERGY SURFACES (not model studies, unless there
are REALLY new and unexpected features)
coherent control will be covered by others in this book!
OF COURSE, ALSO EXPERIMENTAL STUDIES AND RESULTS ARE OF INTEREST, EVEN
IF THERE ARE NO CALCULATIONS.
PLEASE SEND ME THE APPROPRIATE REFERENCES.
THANKS A LOT FOR YOUR PRECIOUS TIME
BEST REGARDS, REINHARD SCHINKE
