Lecturer in Theoretical Physics
Applications are invited for the above position to commence in October
2002. The Atomic, Molecular and Positron Physics Group pursues both
experimental and theoretical research in a wide range of atomic, molecular
and optical physics and it is proposed to appoint a theoretician in any
relevant area to extend the work of the group.
The successful applicant will have an established record of significant
research and the potential to become a leader in the field. He/she will
also be expected to show evidence of competence in teaching at
undergraduate and postgraduate level. Candidates wishing to transfer a
long-term fellowship are welcome to apply. Salary scale in the Lecturer
range: £20470 to £32537, plus £2134 London Allowance, plus relocation
benefits.
