Hi, I work for the Centre for Ethnicity & Health, Faculty of Health,
University of Central Lancashire and we have been involved in quite a lot of
work with different types of agencies around the RRA Act, in particular we
are working with the Royal College of Psychiatrists, the Manchester Mental
Health Partnership, Bury and Rochdale Drug Action Teams and we have been
working with the Guild NHS Trust in Preston who have done a great deal of
work in this area. I am personally doing a PhD on the organisational change
process of implementing race equality following the Act and working on
qualitative tools for use in identifying and addressing institutional
racism. We do have a change model that we have developed in the Centre
which may be of interest.

Subject: Re: CRE stat. code of practice to promote equality
As you all know the packs have been issued for consultation. At the same
time an equality scheme needs to be place for all public authorities by May.
Has anyone out there done or is doing some work on it. Can anyone advise,
support or give guidance on how you are planning to implement this code. I
would be most grateful. Geeta
