Indeed so - there were various backdoor routes into NL, but these were
finally blocked off on the 10th of this month. I think it's an
interesting, and somewhat foolish route for them to take, and certainly
in some of the forums that I use some people are talking about blocking
access to their spiders. It also makes optimising your pages for them
impossible of course since you can't see the results.

MSN also allows a sort by date descending (most recently updated pages
at the top of the list). Several others, such as FAST aka Alltheweb also
allows users to restrict to pages updated in the last month, 3,6,9
months or last year - which is not exactly the same as a sort, but is
better than nothing.
