Donald,
This is a 'how long is a piece of string' question. You can't cost until
the service is specified:
What levels of service are you providing and to whom?
Do you mean PCT to include the GPs and community nurses and staff groups
transferring from community trusts or just the PCT HQ staff?
Are you providing simple 'access' services - i.e. come in and use the
facilities or putting together web/electronic facilities?
Are you providing any outreach/training/primary care librarian support or
are your existing staff absorbing the business?
Do you see what I mean?

Subject: Costing LIS services to primary care
Hi,
I know that this has been asked before, but just in case any new work has
been carried out since then.
I'd be grateful to speak to anyone who is looking at (or who has already
completed) costing library and information services to PCT staff. We are
doing some work in this area at the moment, and it would be useful to see
how what we're doing compares to work elsewhere.
Regards,
Donald
