The RAS at XXVII EGS General Assembly, 21-26 April 2002
The RAS will be co-hosting (with the British Geophysical Association) a
reception for fellows, friends, associates and its journals' editors
between 19:00 and 20:00 on Tuesday 23 April. in the Athena Foyer of the
Acropolis Centre, Nice. All are welcome but please email [log in to unmask] if
you plan to attend so that adequate refreshments can be provided.
The British Geophysical Association s (BGA) Bullerwell Lecture,
"Electromagnetic Geophysics and the Structure of Mid-Ocean Ridges"
will be given by Prof. Martin Sinha (School of Ocean and Earth Sciences,
University of Southampton) at 20:15 on Tuesday, 23 April 2002 in the Athena
Lecture Theatre during the XXVI General Assembly of the European Geophysical
Society, Acropolis, Nice.
