Isn't Kubrick's point that, based on a story set in Vienna, the NYC of Eyes
Wide Shut is supposed to be a little askew? And dreamlike? I suspect the
milieu of EWS is less real than Kubrickian, if I might characterize such an
auteur-milieu. As we know, some films inhabit cinematic territories.
