That would be our view as well, and one expressed by Bb staff when we asked
this. However there is an issue with the accuracy of these. We tried
creating a course, with only one student in it. When you login as that
student and just access the course "home" page, and then exit, you get 2
hits for the student in the course stats even thought they have only
accessed one page of the course.
I understand that Bb are aware of this and intend to do something about it
in the next version.
