I don't have Schubert's figures to hand, but I assume the Llantrisant
data referred to are the 1532 accounts from Clun Park. It is perhaps
worth pointing out that this refers to a manually-blown bloomery, with
a bloomsmithing facility of unknown nature, but presumed to be
water powered. We have recently located a site which may just
possibly be the bloomsmithy. The accounts make it clear that the
smelting furnace was blown by 3 blowers at a time.
