Subject: Non-analysis of samples
Dear All
At present we use a PROB set code on our lab computer to report an
infringement of our sample labelling policy eg the sample is not being
analysed because it was unlabelled, or the wrong sample type was
received, etc.
We have been told that we will no longer be able to do this because
PROB is not an analytical set and read codes are not available for
non-analytical sets.
Any help you can give us to get round this would be appreciated.
How are you reporting and recording non-analysis of samples? Why
can't a read code be made for non-analytical sets?
Many thanks
