Biochemistry in Southampton General Hospital have had a sample-tracking
system in operation for some time and seemed quite pleased with it when I
visited their lab a few years back.

We know of 2 systems at present
1. Datalog - Lyn Sharman on 01604-719520
2. Beckton-Dickinson are about to launch one currently testing at St.Thomas'
Hosp London
Also worth considering request form scanning for filing and storage

Subject: SAMPLE TRACKING SYSTEMS
I would be grateful to any list members who have experience of sample
tracking systems for any information they may have.
I am looking to purchase a system, preferably window based, to locate and
log samples as they pass through different sections of biochemistry into
storage.
Many thanks in anticipation.
