Andrew - Please could you let me know which particular publication this 8
hour guideline is in?
The question of stability is one which interests us here quite a lot. I have
previously asked if anyone has information (or references) on stability of
various biochemical analytes - referring particularly to refrigerated or
frozen (-20 or -80 deg C). There were a few people kind enough to send me
some data and references but in general it is fair to say that there appears
to be a real paucity of information, and much of what the profession does is
guided more by educated guesses than hard facts.
Despite this, I am still trying to gather as much information as I can.
I for one would appreciate it if anyone who has any hard data in this regard
(or references to the same) would be kind enough to make it available. As
Sten said - "....who has both the funds and the time....?"
