It is a strange request, I can only assume that the
requester wants to rule out/in antemortem thyroid
storm or myxedema coma as cause of death using
postmortem TFT results. I would also assume that
antemortem samples are not available to check
antemortem TFTs. In any way, who is going to
interprete the postmortem results and which reference
range is going to be used?
